ONE YEAR.

One year ago I posted the original blog link on Facebook and by that I mean I only posted it on Facebook. I didn’t share it on twitter, instagram, or snapchat. I wanted to keep it low-key. One year ago I was terrified for the step that I had just made.

There were many times leading up to this point that I had started creating a website and then had just stopped. I simply was not ready to put myself out there. So many questions would run through my head.. “Who would follow me? Who would care? Will I get made fun of? Could I actually help? etc.” the thoughts were endless. Constant prayer about which path I should take is what ultimately led to my decision.

I distinctly remember sitting in my speech class thinking about Proverbs 27:17. As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” This is how I came up with “Scharp”fitness. I don’t think I’ve ever told that to anyone but there it is. The excitement I had after figuring my name would work with a bible verse was exactly what I needed to get started. My goal was to influence people both physically and spiritually.. both of which are still my major goals today.

Over this past year I’ve developed relationships that I could not be more thankful for. Guys I look up to and had been following on instagram for what seemed like forever are now talking with me and follow me as well. I just want all of you to know how much I appreciate you. I could not keep pushing without the support. I’m planning some big things for year two. I can’t wait for the journey.

If you wanna see the OG blog here it is. ⇒ http://scharpfitness.blogspot.com

Much love,

Trevor.
