Saturdays are for the boys and for leg days. With that being said, I want to give one reason why you should be training legs on Saturdays!
I can almost GUARANTEE you ate a cheat meal on Friday night and/or you’re planning on it for Saturday night. Well your glutes are the largest muscle group in your body, therefor they use the MOST energy to train. Which burns more calories. This also spikes your metabolism helping your body manage those weekend cheat meals.
So for today, I’m challenging you guys with this leg workout:
- Work up to a heavy 3
- Speed deadlifts
- Stiff leg deadlifts <Superset> Split Squats
- 4×8 each
- Leg extensions <Superset> 45 degree back extension
- 4×12 <Superset> 4×20
- 100 Standing calf raises = AFSAP
- 6 minutes of walking lunges non stop
